Welcome to SŲ1R - Western Sahara 2006  web site, where we'll try to give more info about our DXpedition.
The SŲ1R Team was composed by 10 qualified operators already active from some different countries:

The last 10 April 2006 we departured from Alicante (Spain) and we spend our first night in Rabuni , capital city of the Saharauian refugee camps in Algeria.

After we traveled in 3 cars 4x4 from Rabuni to Tifariti during 8 hours into the desert.

SŲ1R was on air from 11-April-2006 at 17:00 (UA6LLE) through 16-April-2006 at 10:00 (DL6JGW)  with 4 and some time 5 different stations from 10 to 160 in CW - SSB - RTTY - PSK31.

Finally we closed the log with 27.408 QSOs.
